Postdoctoral Research Associate, Advanced Wood Engineered Composite, August 2005 till current
· Synthesize standard test procedures and prepare reports.
· Specify test protocols and required instrumentation for conduct of tests, working within and ISO 17025 test environment.
· Design experiments and implement sample procedures.
· Interact with industrial and technical committee’s.
· Responsible for project management, planning, as well as conduct of individual test.

· Quantified the time-dependent mechanical properties of polymer matrix for composite materials.
· Predicted the aging effects on long-term performance of the material properties for matrix in polymer composite, fiber reinforced lamina composite and laminate composite.
· Investigated the damping of matrix and laminate composite with aging time and temperature.
· Characterized the thermal features of polymer yarns by the methods of DSC and DMA and based on the strain changing with temperature
· Simulated 3D and 2D FEA model of plain and satin weave reinforced composite, fiber coating and matrix component, and flywheel with contact elements.
· Simulated creep behavior of ceramic sample with hole on it and results exactly match the experiment data.
· Damping and control of new composite materials MDC (Multi-Direction Composite) under the Aerospace Flywheel Development, which was funded by NASA Glenn Center.
· Assisted in preparing research proposals for funding
· Conducted research: including literature review, data collection, data analysis, and model (conceptual and statistical) development
